I think its safe to say the official new drink of theCovKids as of late is the Lunch Box. I was first introduced to the drink at the beginning of this summer at the Jolly Scholar. Since then I have it three different ways. Its a drop shot, like a car bomb so it has two components. Heres the way it was taught to me….

Glass
3/4 pint PBR
1 oz Orange juice

Shot
3/4 oz Southern Comfort
1/2oz Amaretto

One variation is replacing PBR with Budlight and the SoCo with 151 (the OU). Another is going to B Side on a Wednesday night for mug night, and ordering a Jumbo Lunch Box. They use a 32 oz mug and a rocks glass. If you do the math thats an entire tall boy of PBR and like 3 shots all in one gulp. Probably the direct reason Ive been drinking these all summer, but have been consistently to hungover to wake up and blog the recipe every Thursday.

The production, the samples, the features, the smooth feel, hard drums, structured lyrics, mad concepts, interludes, pacing, bass…everything I could ask for from a solid hip hop album in the year 2010 and nothing I wouldnt.
