#TACONIGHT – The Coventry Kids’ Anniversary Edition

This Thursday, TheCoventryKids.com will be hosting their third installment of #TACONIGHT at the B-Side. This week also falls upon the one-year anniversary of The Coventry Kids’ being an official write-it-on-your-resume-because-this-is-for-real business. To celebrate the end of the summer, the anniversary, and for the love of tacos, we have made sure that this #TACONIGHT is going to be especially special!

#TACONIGHT is located at 2785 Euclid Heights Blvd. in Cleveland Heights, OH. The party starts at 9p.m., and if you want to indulge in some free tacos, it would be wise to arrive on time! We will be having an open taco buffet cooked by Chef Chaz Rice. Be sure to get your hands on the free margaritas-in-a-can from 9 to 11. Shots of Patron and Hornitos will be on discount all night long! At midnight, we will be busting the pinata, which is filled with surprise coupons, gift cards, toys, and candy from local Coventry businesses. In the past, the pinata has featured Crazy Mullets, Big Fun, Phoenix Coffee, Eddy’s, and many more of your favorite places to be!

This week, we will be featuring DJ sets by the man with the plan, DJ Chojnaki, and the ever-mysterious and vengeful Inigo Montoya. Be sure to catch these guys spinning, because they have lots of surprises. Check out both the very special #TacoNight mix below and photos of our previous #TacoNight.

I attempted to call or text 530-COV-KIDS, when I realized that my phone does not display the 2(abc) 3(def) etc. While attempting to view an image that would help me on my quest to call or text this mysterious number that recently appeared at the top of the blog, I stumbled upon this hilarious image of this old ass dude with an even older phone. HAHAHA, I mean look at the key pad on this bad boy. I cant wait until this becomes the retro cool style…to walk around with big fuckin ridulous phones.

The other day I was going threw my wallet to see how much money I departed with at the bar the night before and stumbled upon the business card of my good friend Jim Fagan. For all that do not know Jim, he is the field marketing manager for Pabst Blue Ribbon Cleveland and good friends with the Cov Kids. Anyways as I over viewed his card which is designed to look like a miniature scale PBR can pretty cool in my opinion, I see that Pabst has a blog. I visited said blog and as I scrolled through it I saw various event, and artist that PBR help sponsor as well as some other things and just as I was going to close the window and go look at something more stimulating I saw something that caught my eye, a vintage PBR commercial. After I watched the whimsical half animated commercial, about why when your bartender ask you what will you have your answer should always be Pabst Blue Ribbon, I became curious of what other PBR commercials were in circulation on YouTube and came across this one. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, to me its a fine explanation of what Pabst Blue Ribbon beer means to me and hopefully to all Americans as a whole. After watching this there only one thing I could think to say “Amen Brother”.

yo, its late #realtalk , im drunk, and Im taking a poll. I feel like this is everything I try not to find joy/laughter in, the butt of the joke has no control over the situation, and the elements I find humorous are completely unrelated to the reality of the scenario. That being said….I can not stop repeatedly watching this and laughing the fuck out loud alone by myself at like 5 in the morning.
