August has become a very exciting month. So in honor of this increasing energy we’re breaking you off with some new tunes. Big ups to Pacheko for breaking us off with an exclusive mix. For those that aren’t familiar with this mans work, Pacheko is a Venezuelan DJ/Producer who blends bass-heavy music with tropical flavours like reggaeton and tuki (a local Venezuelan dance sound similar to Angolan kuduro or Brazilian baile). Co-founder of Abstractor (an audiovisual crew that joins forces of musicians and designers, originated in Caracas but now spread between venezuela, barcelona – spain, chile, melbourne, etc. His crew run a monthly night in Caracas were they showcase their new music, and the sounds that they are feeling, currently: Tropical Bass, Moombathon, Kuduro, and a venezuelan ghetto genre called Changa Tuki or Raptor House. They are currently collaborating with one of the pioneer producers from this venezuelan ghetto electronic scene, his name is Dj Yirvin, and there is a track included of his and a remix he did for pocz on the mix.
 
The mix is basically a combination of Changa Tuki, Kuduro, Bass-House, and Pacheko’s own productions.
