Steve Aoki Super Soaking Bayfront Live Stage!

March 26 and 27 The Coventry Kids raged with 100,000 at Ultra Music Fest in Miami. This was the kid’s first trip to Ultra and from what we heard it was going to be complete madness. All we knew was Ultra was the largest party that was apart of the Winter Music Conference, which is a month long event held every year in Miami. Every day there are a hundred parties going on. Unfortunately it’s impossible to witness everything. Thursday night we decided to hit up the White Room where the dub step DJ Skream was performing. The cool thing about this club was the open-air dance floor and bar. We ran into Bassnectar at the bar and kicked it wit him and watched the show. Skream crushed the whole club and left everyone wanting more.

The following day, Friday, was the first day of Ultra. The festivities where held at Bicentential Park which was a ten min walk from our condo. Our favorite shows Friday where Bassnectar, Felix the Housecat, Will.I.Am, David Guetta, and Tiesto. We went to Club Mekka after Ultra ended Friday night and saw Plastician and Diesel Boy. Everyone was up in the club knucking and bucking. There was a female who was so crazy she was going ham and punching dudes in the face. We even ran into Cleveland dubstep DJ Thunder St. Clair ragging in the club.

Everyone in the crew where super excited for Saturday’s performances. The whole day started at noon and went till midnight. We got to Ultra just in time to see Diplo start his set. Steve Aoki followed and crushed it. Steve Aoki popped a bottle of champagne on the crowd and super soaked the fuck out of some hoes. That wasn’t all. He front flipped into the crowd and crowd surfed while his set was going. He got back on stage just in time to make his next drop and destroy the whole stage. By far the most insane performance I saw all weekend! After Steve Aoki blew our mind we where ready to watch dubstep. We saw Bassnectar, Benga, Caspa, Skream, Planet of the Drums, The Glitch Mob, Rusko, LTJ Bukem, Pendulum and Major Lazer. Every dubstep performance was intense and rowdy. To finish the night we watched Swedish House Mafia and Deadmau5 leave the crowd begging for more!

We were impressed by everything we saw at Ultra and the after parties. Shout out to the crew that we partied down with. Thanks Ultra crew for booking such a baller condo to stay in. Everyone had a great time and didn’t get into any trouble. We made hella new friends and a million one memories. We can’t wait till next year because the festival is being extended to three days!!!!!
